At EISB, we implement teaching practices that encourage responsible environmental behaviour. From annual visits to water treatment plants and recycling centres to field activities in nature reserves, our students actively learn how to contribute to a more sustainable world. In addition, our facilities are powered by solar thermal energy, demonstrating our commitment to energy efficiency.

As part of our mission to reduce our environmental impact, EISB takes concrete action. For example, we optimise waste separation, reduce electricity consumption, and have installed timers on taps to save water. All these initiatives also serve to raise children’s awareness of the importance of caring for natural resources.

Recycling is an essential part of our education. We collaborate with ECO-SCHOOLS FEE, promoting the recycling of paper and packaging, and we recycle second-hand uniforms for charitable causes. We also participate in community campaigns, such as collecting bottle caps and toys to help children in need.
