Our programmes
The Educational Psychology Department develops a range of programmes and initiatives to support students’ academic, emotional and social development, adapting to the needs of every educational stage.
Learning Support and Individualised Intervention Programmes

Gifted and Talented Programme
We believe that talent should be nurtured, that no one should face limits to their academic growth, and that every child needs challenges that motivate them and help them reach their full potential. At times, these students may feel frustrated or misunderstood, and we work to ensure that this does not happen at our school.
Students with high abilities can sometimes feel frustrated or misunderstood. At EISB, we work to ensure they feel supported, challenged and valued throughout their educational journey.
We offer a range of programmes tailored to each student’s educational stage, age, level of maturity and individual abilities, including:
- Classroom enrichment
- Extracurricular enrichment in a dedicated learning environment
- Subject acceleration
- Full grade acceleration
Health and Wellbeing Programmes
We also develop programmes that promote both physical and mental wellbeing in collaboration with the school’s Nursing Department, the Physical Education Department and our Nutrition Programme, led by our dietitian and chef.
Together, we promote our students’ overall wellbeing through personalised support, workshops, educational activities integrated into the curriculum and awareness sessions on important topics such as bullying prevention, healthy relationships with food, responsible use of social media, online safety, including cyberbullying, grooming and sexting, and healthy screen habits.

Mobile Phone-Free Environment
As part of our commitment to student wellbeing, we have maintained a mobile phone-free environment for many years.
We advise against children having them before the age of 12 and, in Secondary, students hand them in when they arrive at school and collect them at the end of the school day.
Speech and Language Therapy
We offer a complementary Speech and Language Therapy service for students experiencing difficulties related to speech, language, communication or voice. Following an initial assessment, we develop an individualised intervention plan tailored to each student’s needs and monitor their progress on an ongoing basis.
This service includes:
- Speech and language assessment
- Individualised therapy
- Ongoing progress monitoring
- Liaison with families and the school whenever required

EISB Clinical Psychopedagogical Center
In addition to the support provided by the Educational Psychology Department, the EISB Clinical Psychopedagogical Center offers comprehensive psychoeducational and clinical assessments for both EISB students and students from other schools.
We carry out comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and clinical psychodiagnostic evaluations to understand each student’s learning profile, identify their strengths and determine any specific educational support needs.
Based on this assessment, we also develop personalised psychoeducational support programmes tailored to each student’s needs.
Clinical psychological assessment includes:
- Assessment of the student’s learning profile
- Family interview
- Administration of standardised clinical assessments
- A report with guidance and recommendations
- Coordination with the teaching team
Psychopedagogical support includes:
- Individualised learning goals
- Sessions tailored to each student’s needs
- Termly review meetings with families
- Ongoing liaison with the Educational Psychology Department and the student’s class tutor
Why choose this service at EISB?
- Direct coordination with the school’s psychologists and teachers.
- Ongoing communication between families and the school.
- Intervention fully aligned with each student’s educational context.
