EISB Journal October 2025
This November, at EISB we celebrate Science Week, a special time of the year when science takes centre stage across all year groups. It’s a week full of discovery, experimentation and creative thinking, during which pupils from Early Years to Secondary take part in hands-on activities, experiments and projects that invite them to ask questions, think critically and explore the world around them.
Whether building models, exploring biology, testing hypotheses or solving real-world challenges, the goal is to awaken curiosity and inspire future innovators.
Science Week forms part of our broader STEM approach at EISB. From the early years onwards, we integrate Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics into our curriculum, helping pupils develop essential digital and scientific skills. As they move through the school, they take on more complex challenges such as coding, robotics, environmental science and digital design. STEM is not limited to a single subject: it’s a way of learning that promotes exploration, collaboration and creativity.
At EISB, we believe science isn’t just about learning facts – it’s about wondering, testing, discovering and imagining new possibilities. Through Science Week and our daily classroom practices, we aim to nurture curious minds who are not afraid to experiment, challenge ideas and think differently.
We’re excited to see what our students will create and discover during this exciting week of science in action!
