Judo
A martial art of Japanese origin and Olympic combat sport intended to train the body and mind. It involves using holds and leverage to unbalance the opponent.
The judo extracurricular programme works at three levels:
- Beginners: work on basic motor aspects, falls and floorwork.
- Advanced: basic throwing techniques are developed.
- Proficiency: specific throwing techniques gain importance.

Initiation Foundation Year 2 & 3 (I4 – I5)
- Monday and Wednesday from 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM

Prebenjamin (Primary Year 1 & 2)
- Monday and Wednesday from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM
- Fee: €67
Benjamin / Alevin (Primary Year 3, 4 & 5)
- Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM
- Fee: €67
Infantil (Primary Year 6 & Secondary)
- Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM
- Fee: €67
Practical information
Entry and exit
The monitors will collect EISB students before the activity.
Students arriving from other schools should enter via the Sports Centre.
Students should be picked up from the Main Dining Room.
Kit
- Judogi and flipflops
- Waterbottle.
- Afternoon snack.
Limited places
- Groups will be closed in order of registration.
- Registrations will not be renewed automatically year to year.
- Students who have done activity previously will have priority over new students.
Billing
- As long as there are places available, students may enroll at any time in the month, but must pay the full monthly fee.
- In the case of requesting cancellation, this will be effective from the 1st day of the following month.
- Activities will be billed on the 1st of each month (except for Setembre when it will be billed at the end of the month).
- The monthly fee is equivalent to the annual amount prorated over 10 monthly payments (regardless of the number of sessions held).
