Welcome to the Theatre Club!

Join us on an exciting journey into the world of theatre, where creativity, teamwork, and performance come to life. Our club offers a dynamic combination of acting techniques, stagecraft, and script analysis that will help both novice and experienced actors develop their skills.

Throughout the term, participants will explore various aspects of theatre, including Improvisation, Drama Games, Stagecraft, Script Work, Character Creation, Naturalism, and Absurdism, Inspiration from the Great Masters.

The highlight of the term will be our End-of-Term Performance, where students will showcase everything they’ve learned with a selection of carefully chosen scenes that reflect their progress as actors.

Whether you’re looking to boost your confidence, explore new acting techniques, or simply have fun with fellow theatre enthusiasts, the Theatre Club offers a welcoming and exciting space for everyone.

Class Structure

Each session will follow a structured approach to maximize learning and fun:

  • 15 minutes – Warm-up and Games: we start with fun activities to relax the body and mind.
  • 20 minutes – Improvisation, Creation, and Technique: develop acting skills through improvisation and the introduction of various techniques.
  • 20 minutes – Scene Work: we will focus on script analysis and performance, developing characters and bringing scenes to life on stage.
  • 5 minutes – Cool Down: we finish each session with a final relaxation to reflect on what was learned during the day.

Practical information

Entry and exit

Teachers will pick up students from the dining room and drop them off in the playground when the activities finish.

Limited places
  • Groups will be closed in order of registration.
  • Registrations will not be renewed automatically year to year.
  • Students who have done activity previously will have priority over new students.
Billing
  • As long as there are places available, students may enroll at any time in the month, but must pay the full monthly fee.
  • In the case of requesting cancellation, this will be effective from the 1st day of the following month.
  • Activities will be billed on the 1st of each month (except for Setembre when it will be billed at the end of the month).
  • The monthly fee is equivalent to the annual amount prorated over 10 monthly payments (regardless of the number of sessions held).
