Get excited!
Leadership and emotion management are a fundamental part of any person’s well-being and success. In EISBarcelona we are committed to include this extracurricular activity where we work, in group and through play, all areas of Emotional Intelligence: self-esteem, social skills, knowledge of their own and others’ emotions, empathy, motivation, responsibility, communication, values… A space where children can be themselves and express their emotions. Through different disciplines (games in movement, crafts, teamwork, music, theater, etc.) we work so that the child has tools for personal development and well-being, growing with greater self-confidence and acquiring knowledge and resources to face any challenge in life. Through this activity the children achieve:
- Greater well-being and happiness.
- Increase their emotional vocabulary to better understand what is happening to them and how to express it appropriately.
- Reduce impulsivity, and therefore, make better decisions.
- Increasing self-confidence: they learn to love and respect themselves, to know their strengths and areas for improvement, to know what they want…
- Less conflict at home and in the classroom.
- Greater personal responsibility, both in their day-to-day obligations and emotionally (taking responsibility for their emotions, mistakes, decisions…).
- Develop empathy: they learn to value and respect each other even if they are different.
- Better relationships at school, both with teachers and peers.
- Internalize tools to overcome their fears.
- Learning to work in a team.
- And in many cases, they even improve their academic results!
